Connecting the Power Cable
- Check to confirm that the machine power supply is off.
- Attach the power cable clamp (accessory).
- Insert the power cable clamp into the power cable clamp hole.
- Check that the power cable clamp is securely attached by tugging on it.
- Plug the power cable into the inlet of the machine.
- Slide the power cable clamp out to an appropriate position.
- To slide the power cable clamp out, push up the tab underneath.
- The tab does not need to be pushed up when sliding the power cable clamp in.
- Pass the power cable through the power cable clamp to secure it in place.
- Slide the power cable clamp in.
- Plug the power plug into the power outlet.

- Do not handle the power plug with wet hands. Disregarding this precaution may result in electric shock.

- Be sure to ground the machine. It is extremely dangerous to use the machine without grounding it, due to the risk of electric shock or machine damage.

- When using a two-pin power outlet, insert the plug of the power cable into the ground adapter provided.
- Connect the green wire (ground wire) of the ground adapter to ground. If grounding is not possible, contact an electrical contractor for assistance.
