Model Selection Screen
No printer/plotter appears in the [New printer/plotter] area.
This may be due to one of the following causes:
- The cable is disconnected or damaged.
[Corrective action]: Check the cable. - The model or firmware version is not supported.
[Corrective action]: Check MRA Usage Conditions.
- The printer/plotter is not connected to the same network segment as the wireless LAN router.
[Corrective action]: Refer to the following and connect to the same network segment.

Information about same network segment
Same network segment refers to a network for which the first three of the four sets of numbers in the IP address separated by periods are identical.

- Example 1:
Device A: 192.168.0.10
Device B: 192.168.0.55
A and B are on the same network segment, as "192.168.0" is identical for each. - Example 2:
Device A: 192.168.0.10
Device B: 192.168.1.55
A and B are on different network segments, as only "192.168" is identical.
The procedures for checking the IP address are as follows:

PC | Select Start menu --> [Settings] --> [Network & Internet] --> Properties for the currently connected network --> IPv4 address |
Smartphone | Select [Settings] --> [Wi-Fi] --> Open details of the currently connected network --> IP address |
- "Don't Allow" was selected at the "<Mimaki Remote Access/> is attempting to search for or connect to a device on the local network." dialog when MRA was launched for the first time.
[Corrective action]: Check Launching MRA for the First Time, then allow connection.
After checking the cause, tap the reload button at the top right of the [Printer/Plotter Selection] screen.
