Checking and Setting PIN Code

Information about the PIN code
The PIN code is the authorization code required to connect the MRA with a printer/plotter.
Each printer/plotter supporting MRA has its own PIN code.
Setting value and setting location
- The initial setting is "0000".
- The code can be set in the range "0000" to "9999".
When the setting is "0000", any four-digit number other than "0000" will be authorized on the MRA PIN code input screen. (Example 1: "0001", "1234", etc.)
Once authorized, the input screen will not be subsequently displayed unless the PIN code has been changed.
- The PIN code can be set by selecting the following on the printer/plotter display panel:
[MENU] - [Environment Settings] - [Remote Control] - [PIN Code]

- Changes to the PIN code or enabling/disabling remote control should be performed at the printer/plotter main unit and not via MRA.
- If the PIN code is changed via MRA, a screen will be displayed for entering the new code when moving to a different screen.
- Note that disabling remote control via MRA will prevent any further remote operations.
