• When the printer cover is open, for safety reasons, it will display "Close a cover," and operation will be disabled. Please close the front cover and the upper and lower maintenance covers again.

* The open/close status of the cover is detected by a sensor.
When you close the front cover and the upper/lower maintenance covers,
each sensor is pressed and it recognizes that the covers are closed.
