2. "Nozzle Recovery System" for continuous operation New!


When any clogging of a certain nozzle cannot be solved even after cleaning is performed for it, such nozzle will not be used, and another normal nozzle will be used instead (nozzle recovery function).
In this way, it becomes possible to perform the ongoing print job continuously.

3. Mimaki Advanced Pass System 4 (MAPS4) is supported New!


Smooth prints can be realized by printing pass boundaries fading in gradation, while banding (horizontal stripes), uneven color, or glossy streak can be reduced.

4. Ethernet 10GB-T supported New!


Added support for 10GB-based Ethernet controller. Print data transfer at higher speed is now available.


5. Selectable print mode to suit the production (from high-speed to high-quality)


For the realization of higher quality of print, 1,200 dpi print mode is added and the multi-pass is applied.
Tiger-1800B MkIII will apply the production from the high-speed print regarding much importance for productivity to the high-quality print of beautiful image.

1 pass mode: High speed printing is possible

In 1 pass mode all printheads are used. One print width is equivalent to two staggers, and printing at high speed is possible.

Multi-pass mode: High quality printing is possible


Multi-pass means to print a determined printing area by multiple times with different nozzles, which allows to suppress the cause of stripe and band and create a beautiful print.

6. Droplet print mode selection suitable for print data


Depending on ink type and printing mode, there are 4 different droplet sizes. Droplet print mode can be choose to match the print data from high speed and standard mode.

7. Stable and reliable mechanism secures high-speed printing


1) Stable textile transportation mechanism


Textile transport security is achieved by the twin pressure roller shafts attached to the edge of the transportation belt. Textiles are uniformly applied without wrinkling onto the belt through the upper and lower rollers (Fig. 1), assuring stable textile transportation. Furthermore, the wrinkle and jam sensors detect textile wrinkling or creasing early in order to minimize potential damage to the printheads from collisions with raised or jammed textiles.

2) Degassing module and ink circulation mechanism maintain optimum ink conditions


Air bubbles generated in the ink can lead to missing nozzles because such bubbles act as cushions that decrease ink ejection power. To assure stable ink-jetting, each model of the Pro series has a degassing module that removes bubbles and constantly circulates ink.

3) Automatic wiper cleaning


Cleaning liquid spray nozzles

Cleaning liquid is automatically applied to each wiper before and after head cleaning. This liquid enhances the cleaning effect during the head-cleaning process, ensuring a clean wiper and reducing daily maintenance time. Furthermore, as each printhead has its own wiper, quick and effective cleaning is enabled while color mixing in the printheads is avoided.


8. Large-sized ink tank (10 kg) ensures cost-effective print operation

The bulk ink supply delivers cost-effective printing and enables long-hour printing. Furthermore, the printer monitors the ink level using a weight detection sensor and displays an alert on the operation panel when the ink level is low.


9. Extensive optional units for accommodating various applications


Extensive lineup of optional devices to be selected according to the type and status of fabric and transfer paper, including the storage after printing.  
Optimal introduction is available to suit the production process of customers.

10. Software New!


The advanced high-performance RIP software "TxLink4" supports the Tiger-1800B MkIII. You can expect to increase productivity by making use of such functions of TxLink4 as "Parallel RIP function" that can be performed in parallel for multiple of print data and "Variable print function" that is tailored to applications for apparel. Introduction of "16-bit rendering" which is upgraded from 8-bit version enables smoother and more beautiful gradation expression.
Newly supporting of 10 GB-based Ethernet controller by Tiger-1800B MkIII can also deal with high-speed data transfer.
